I love 70s and 80s music, so it's really sad for me to see one star from that era after another pass away. Ozzy's death hit me particularly hard. My 90-year-old grandmother once told me that it's sometimes difficult for her to carry on. "I've outlived my world. All of my favorite singers and actors are dead. All of my friends are dead. Most of my siblings are dead (she had 11). I'm still here, but my world isn't any more."

With each such loss, it feels like I'm losing part of my world, too.
