Many of us actively choose to be here regardless of whether we would have more followers (more bots* … ?) somewhere else - simply recognizing that this is the only social media that we can trust to survive various regimes.
*) I help moderate another largeish Mastodon instance. We're diligent in suspending bots/trolls at signup - something I doubt a commerical platform that wants to brag about the numbers of user do ...

in reply to NOELREPORTS 🇪🇺 🇺🇦 • • •Because of how Mastodon is structured, it is more difficult to understand the actual reach of your posts. For example you receive much much less likes because in Mastodon they don't do much.
If you want to understand your reach, try to publish a poll, so from the interaction you'll see how your reach is actually larger than you may think.
Of course the Fediverse is also smaller than other social networks, so you'll have less reach also because of this.
