If you need strong adhesive pads, don't waste time with the white 3M stuff from Aliexpress. It doesn't stick, to anything really.
Go with the RED VHB stuff. That holds like an absolute mofo.
EDIT: apparently VHB stands for Very High Bonding so it's a type, not a brand, but the types and pictures still apply.
