Sounds like another thumbs up for the open feature request. Sadly commenting here won't get this implemented. If you have dev skills creating a PR would be awesome. There already is an instance setting for this. This needs to be adapted and offered on a per user level.

@Schmaker @Piero Filippin Friendica is quite good for people handling/creating content. E.g. Email client and support of RSS protocol. But you are allowed to do something else.

There is a simple way as user to get rid of it with the element hiding helper of µblock, because auf the unique class to block: .fakelink.birthday-notice
