Czechia’s new parliamentary speaker Tomio Okamura has ordered the removal of the Ukrainian flag from the parliament building shortly after taking office.

During the election campaign, the SPD leader also made a number of anti-Ukrainian statements, including calls to restrict the rights of Ukrainian refugees and to stop military support for Ukraine.
