Trump (if you'd believe him) sees it as a serious enough threat that the US should take possession of Greenland.
So thanks to Trump for this valuable insight, we're strenghtening Greenlands defenses against those countries (and any other that don't belong and might want to gain a foothold).
Nonsensical operation, IMHO. Trump wants a 51st star on the U.S. flag, and that is all that counts for him. Anything else is just distraction and excuses.
