Also the full date and time display is confused, look at the time zone information: "Wed, 13 Mar 1602 22:05:18 -0456"

I thought about it, but there haven't been enough leap years since 1602 to make 6 full years. Something funky is going on, and I'm tickled enough to go to the bottom of it even with the lack of practical use.

I want to be able to insert/import my old tweets with timestamps into a private single user server. Was that easy to do?

It's not so much of an import as it is just using ActivityPub C2S to create a status with a custom date value, but it's not difficult.

The only downside at the moment is that Mastodon doesn't support C2S, but maybe something similar could be done with MastoAPI?
