A lot of people seem to have forgotten that you can save $10 to $15 every day by just packing your lunch instead of going out to eat

a lot of people dont realize that saving $10/workday is $2600/year
in reply to Rue Mohr

@RueNahcMohr and $10 is on the low side here. A lot of people are dropping closer to $20 on lunch
in reply to Emily Velasco

:] I was going low to account for net after buying lunch supplies, not being sure how much you had put in for that.
I ran out of time in the mornings to assemble a lunch , but stay aware of how much what I buy is costing me. (I only buy part of my lunches)

@RueNahcMohr I often make my own office lunch by chopping a carrot lengthways (I'd say "batons" if they were a bit more skilfully done) and dipping in hummus, or baking a sweet potato in the microwave and adding coleslaw

The amount of people door dashing fast food suggest the amount of savings is even higher if they make a lunch at home, forget packing it
