!Friendica Support Trying the #Friendica web UI on an Android phone, I wonder whether there's a recommended way to get the interaction icons (like "like", "reshare", "comment") to be bigger? Right now, they're so tiny it's hard to impossible to hit them with my not-so-small fingers... 😁️

@Stephan Maus Me too at the moment, still however wanted to try the web interface as using Friendica with Mastodon clients always causes things to somehow break or not work with clients upgrading to new Mastodon versions and supporting features Mastodon offers but Friendica doesn't. As well, some Friendica core features (like the permission dialog or filtering by network) don't at all work in Mastodon clients, and real good "native" Friendica apps are still rather scarce.

True. Every App has its flaws. "Tusky" doesn't upload images, Fedilab doesn't properly load "More news" in timeline.

For the minutes @AndStatus@Mastodon also is pretty neat with friendica (by supporting the Mastodon API feature set Friendica has to offer rather well and not implementing most of the "newer" Mastodon features anyway), but it has a .. special usability that makes it only suitable for power users I guess... 🙂️ Still sort of hoping for an actually platform-independent client API for the fediverse. Right now, even while we celebrate that open-ness, if one wants mobile support and reasonably full-featured, up-to-date apps, Mastodon is pretty predominant. 😶️

@Steffen K9 🐰 I've had similar experiences with tusky too but I'm unsure how much that relates to particular tusky/friendica versions. Generally I'd recommend tusky test/nightly even though that has ... other interesting issues of its own at the moment.

Das kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Tusky und Friendica arbeiten gut zusammen. Bilder lassen sich hochladen und mit einer Bildbeschreibung versehen. Das gleiche auch bei Fedilab.

@dr-e Ich kenn das auch, hab es aber lang nicht gesehen. Dazu hab ich, glaube ich, bei tusky oder Friendica ein Issue geschrieben - irgendwann gab es dort wohl eine Änderung im API-Endpoint für Image-Upload bei Mastodon, den Friendica nicht konnte. Das war aber noch pre-2022-06, glaube ich.

@Stephan Maus Ja, das ist (leider) ein noch bekanntes Problem (github.com/tuskyapp/Tusky/issu… und die verlinkten "Gegenstücke" bei Friendica). In Testing/Beta von tusky ist das gerade noch kaputter. 😁️
