Dobrá, Zprávobot má @fendrych_m bridgeovaného... ale mě napadlo mu říct osobně, kolik ho ve Fediverse followuje příznívců, takže ho tady máme i živého a verifikovaného. Naše instance #fcz je to správné místo MIMO SYStém - a i kdyby ne, tak máme správné iniciály. Jo a kromě follow si taky koukejte koupit tu knihu, kterou tu propaguje, abychom ukázali sílu komunity (pro uživatele instance to platí za roční příspěvek na provoz, podobně jako útrata u @gandalf #dovetru).
A kdo je demodé? Přiznejte se!
Rekola už umí jezdit díky čipu, který je k mání v Praze v CAMPu. Spáruje se s účtem a stačí čip na klíčích.

in reply to plactagonic • • •I had a bike with about that mileage on it, and the handlebar stem just snapped. I was happy it snapped on an uphill, and not a downhill!
When I was replacing the handlebar stem, I looked down and saw that the seat stays were slowly bending outward where they met the chain stays.
How did you fix this enough to ride?!

in reply to Eric Matthes • • •@ehmatthes Look through the thread I put it in three posts. Tldr rope, tent pegs, zipties and hope. Now owner of quick release cranks.
I think that it should last longer but maybe there is some other issue with bb or something and it just chew through the left crank because it happened to me before (with different system) after same mileage.

in reply to plactagonic • • •After I calmed down from this horror I did some quick fix with piece of rope and random stick I found on the ground. At the campsite I tidied it up with tent pegs. The pegs keep the rope twisted so it is in tension and don't fall of.

in reply to plactagonic • • •In random bike shop I got compliments from the tech there for good quick fix - because it lasted ~250km to get there.
I'm now proud owner of quick release cranks which was his idea, took 10min to do and I hope it will last another 1500km so I don't have to end my trip sooner.

Did you have to drill any holes, in the cranks, to get the skewer through?
EDIT. Just seen the tent pegs (that's clever). And I also see no drilling needed.

But I love this one, bit simpler solution needed than mine.
